Alessandro Girardi

MEET Alessandro

Alessandro Girardi is currently a fellow in the TDK Ventures fellowship program. He's an R&D Engineer for SMD Hybrid Polymer Capacitors at TDK Electronics in Brazil, where he has worked for over 10 years.

With a background in Electrical Engineering, he designed new capacitor technology at TDK from scratch, integrating nanotechnology based on conductive polymers into the traditional capacitor design. Alessandro’s work covered the entire process, from proof of concept to designing the pilot production process flow and setting up mass production.

Alessandro aims to bridge the gap between technical expertise and business strategy, ensuring technology serves strategic goals. He's passionate about exploring emerging technologies with the potential to transform industries and address global issues. He wants to understand how technology, innovation, and investment intersect to drive change. He also wants to develop a venture capital mindset, learning the full investment process while building synergy with TDK.
