Siddharth Mehta is an Investment Director with TDK Ventures based in India, focusing on evaluating deep tech startup investments across mobility, agritech and industry 4.0. In a country with one of the world’s largest pool of scientific and engineering personnel and three cities among the world’s fastest-growing high-tech centers, he is building relationships to help drive highly relevant projects, and facilitating due diligence of potential investments. He also provides valued TDK Goodness to portfolio companies, including helping with partnerships, fundraising, and strategic advice.
Prior to joining TDK Ventures, he led the Shell Ventures hub in India and did startup investments across mobility, logistics, industrial tech, and sustainability verticals. He was part of the founding team of Shell India startup accelerator E4. He also has project-finance experience, evaluating $100M-$2B energy-sector investment decisions across multiple geographies in Asia, Australia and Middle East.
Siddarth holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. He also is a Certified Lean Practitioner from British Quality Foundation.
He is passionate about climate tech and solutions that can make the planet more sustainable.
