MEET Valentin
Valentin Antoine is an Investment Analyst with TDK Ventures. He supports founders building deep tech solutions that contribute to society in the Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing fields. He drove TDK Ventures’ investment in ANYbotics with Marc Bouchet and supports Agility Robotics and Span in their journey. He assisted Faction for their Seed Extension round and continues to offer his support as the company expands.
Prior to TDK Ventures, Valentin worked as an Investment Analyst at the venture capital arm of Safran in Paris, where he scouted aerospace and defense startups. He later joined the Supercharger team at Tesla for which he designed and oversaw the installation of Supercharger stations. His academic research experience includes a study of a piezoelectric MEMS vibrational energy harvesting and a study of the state of health of lithium-ion batteries for grid applications. Valentin holds a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a MS in Engineering from CentraleSupélec.
Outside of work, Valentin enjoys long-distance running and basketball, as well as playing poker competitively. He is also a proud cat parent.
