Sachiko Takano

MEET Sachiko

Sachiko Takano was a member of the TDK Ventures fellowship program in early 2023. Since then, she has been working in Germany as a member of the marketing team serving TDK Corporation’s Magnetics BG line. Her main duties are investigating automotive markets and supporting the IC reference team.

Sachiko has been with TDK since 2004. Her first position was a magnetics material engineer, then she moved in the direction of an application engineer for both consumer products and automotive fields.

During her TDK Ventures fellowship tenure, she was part of a team creating/updating two TDK Ventures briefings:

•Wide Band Gap Semiconductor for Power Electronics

•Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Communications

Also during her time in the fellowship program, she was part of TDK Ventures DX Week 2023 in Tokyo, taking part in a session on “mobility".

Sachiko studied physics in college and has a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
