MEET Bill

As the General Counsel at TDK Ventures, Bill Graves offers support to portfolio companies in connection with training, legal strategy, and introductions to professional service providers that can make meaningful contributions to business operations. Additionally, Bill manages all legal matters for TDK Ventures, including compliance, investments, and fund formation.

Prior to joining TDK Ventures, Bill spent over 20-years advising early-stage businesses and venture capital groups. This time included serving as the Managing Partner of M&H LLP in Menlo Park, CA, where he practiced corporate law for over 17 years with a special emphasis on governance matters, venture capital, and M&A. Prior to that, he practiced as a corporate securities attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, CA.

He received his law degree with an emphasis on securities regulation and corporate finance from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado. Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with his family, reading, professional sports (Niners!), and the outdoors.
