Veronica Vallez is the Recruitment Principal for TDK Ventures portfolio companies. She manages full-cycle recruiting to help potential Portfolio Companies find top technical and executive candidates. In doing this, she partners with them, learns their business plan, technology roadmap, product timelines, and short and long-term needs, then helps develop a strategic hiring plan along with them.
Prior to joining TDK Ventures, she garnered wide-ranging experience in recruitment working for companies such as Indigo Technologies, Rivian, Porsche Digital, Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc., and LinkedIn. Her responsibilities ranged from recruitment to executive-level search, creating strategies and workflows, and relationship building.
Veronica holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, and a certificate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from General Assembly.
She has a passion for building natural and lasting relationships with candidates. She is a results-driven researcher with the ability and instinct to find the right profile and personality for any role whether technical or business side. She enjoys gardening, hiking, and running in her spare time.
