Jason DeSoto

Jason DeSoto is TDK Ventures’ Human Resources Principal responsible for our team as well as helping our portfolio companies to scale through strategic HR initiatives.

With over 25 years of experience in Silicon Valley HR across diverse industries, including semiconductor, academia, financial services, and startups, Jason brings a wealth of expertise to TDK Ventures and our portfolio companies. His skills encompass People Operations, Training & Development, Management Coaching, Organizational Design/Development, Change Management, and more.

Before joining TDK Ventures, Jason dedicated 13 years to Accretive Solution and Countsy, consulting with Silicon Valley and San Francisco startups. His focus included developing People & Culture Strategy, enhancing Employer Branding, and leading Recruitment efforts.

Beyond his professional commitments, Jason is an active contributor to the Santa Clara, CA community, engaging in various volunteer activities and community projects. In his leisure time, he finds joy in backpacking, fishing, and passionately cheering for his Bay Area’s sports teams (49ers, Giants, Warriors, Sharks).
